Exact Sciences Corporation seeks Lead Technical Business Analyst/Product Owner in Redwood City, CA.

Job Duties:

•Translate business needs into requirements utilizing a structured process for gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing change.

• Clearly articulate and document business requirements via user stories and functional specifications.

• Generate use cases/user stories to ensure that all functional requirements are captured.

• Maintain project requirements and scope for medium complexity business solutions.

• Play a critical role in project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions.

• Partner with QA to develop test plans and assist in testing of software solutions.

• Facilitate and participate in user acceptance testing and end-user training.

• Maintain documentation of changes and improved procedures.

• Review product design documentation to ensure that requirements are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable.

• Understand application configuration and clearly articulate how changes are made.

• Monitor performance after implementation of changes to prevent recurrence of program operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation.

• Research best practices and end-user needs, and present options and strategy for implementing changes.

• Evaluate and understand current processes and workflows.

• Proactively provide process improvement recommendations within a quickly evolving company.

• Proactively resolve customer satisfaction issues.

• Partner closely with outside vendors to deliver solutions.

• Provide leadership assistance to other analysts by modeling best-practices and approaches and serving as a coach to more junior colleagues. Hybrid work benefit available. Must reside within the MSA of the worksite located at Redwood City, CA 94063.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technology field and five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst, Quality Analyst, Product Owner, or in a related role/capacity working on technology development projects.

Special Skills:

• 5 years of experience operating under SDLC or other software-specific project management process;

• 5 years of experience working on Agile development teams;

• 5 years of experience working on software within the areas of physician or patient portals, web and/or ecommerce;

• 5 years of experience with user research and usability testing;

• 3 years of experience in modern design tools (MS Visio, Azure, and Figma);

• 3 years of experience communicating design ideas through appropriate flows, wireframes, mockups and/or prototypes.

Salary: $160,139 - $166,545 per year.

Salary Range:

$97,000.00 - $155,000.00

 

The annual base salary shown is a national range for this position on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to be considered for company stock at hire and on an annual basis.
