Job description

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Regional OEM Manager North America at Atotech USA LCC, you will partner with Automotive OEM´s engineering & material departments to promote MKS-Atotech specialty chemistry solutions and to drive chemistry approval projects. In this role, you will report to the Global Senior OEM Director General Metal Finishing.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Drive overall international/local OEM & Tier approval activities and supervision of project management with international/local OEMs & Tier located in NA.
  • Promote actively the company’s full range of products to existing and potential OEMs & Tiers through communication on various levels within client's organization, including R&D, design departments etc.
  • Global project management internally & within the OEM / Tier organizations.
  • Support product implementations with customers following OEM/Tier´s PPAPs.
  • Keep up to date with current market trends and ensure that this market intelligence is communicated to the relevant departments within the organization.
  • Participation in exhibitions, written publications, conferences, TechDays, membership of associations, including speeches & webinar presentations.
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 30 % of Travel is required.

Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in either chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical- or electrical engineering, material science, or similar.
  • 10+ years of working experience with customer contacts, sales or selling processes.
  • Leadership experience in the matrix organization.
  • Automotive technology knowledge & project management milestones.
  • Good communication skills, team-builder, self-engaged & structured.

Supervisory Scope:

  • Leadership experience includes direct reports for future developments.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Remote position with needs to travel to Rock Hill, SC and Michigan area to support customers and business. Candidate must be available for 30% travel.

Relocation benefits are not available for this position.
