JOB OVERVIEW

The Collision Repair Follow-Up position assists Collision Repair Specialists in checking the status of repairs by following up with vendors (shops, roadside and rental) and drivers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Confirm vehicle arrival or location with shops.
  • Contact shops to request required paperwork (estimates, photos, invoices, final bill,…)
  • Communicate status of repair to Collision when necessary
  • Following up with shops to get status of repairs and key repair dates.  Enter data in key data fields.
  •  Be able to pull and update reporting related to key dates
  •  Update activity logs with repair data
  • Be available to assist within the department and with other groups and departments in Wheels.
  • Other duties as assigned.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one (1) year of Customer Service experience
  • An understanding of Fleet, Collision Repair, and/or Risk Management is preferred

JOB SPECIFICATIONS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work Environment:  This position is Hybrid located in Illinois and operates in a professional office environment.

Positions Type/Standard Schedule:  This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. 

Travel:  Travel is not required for this role.  There may be certain times of the year where Vacation time may not be permitted or overtime may be required

Physical Demands:  The position requires the individual to spend extended periods of the time working on a PC and talking on a phone while sitting at a desk.

Pay Range:

$34,000-$47,600

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan which is based on company performance and individual performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience, education, certifications, skill level and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
