As our Migration Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth and successful transition for our customers to a new Smart product. You will be instrumental in the planning, execution, and validation of the migration, working in a hands-on capacity to overcome challenges and deliver results. Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:
Leading Migration Strategy & Execution: Develop, plan, and execute comprehensive migration strategies for transitioning customers to a new product, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
Hands-on Migration Management: Directly engage in the technical and procedural aspects of the migration, troubleshooting issues and actively contributing to solutions.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise migration data and metrics to inform decisions, identify trends, and optimise migration processes for future phases.
Stakeholder & Dependency Management & Communication: Collaborate closely with technology, business, compliance, operational teams, other programme Migration Leads and third-party vendors to ensure alignment and clear communication throughout the migration lifecycle.
Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with migration activities, ensuring robust contingency plans are in place.
Process Optimisation: Continuously review and refine migration processes to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and improve the customer experience.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure all migration activities adhere to regulatory obligations and E.ON Next standards.
Are we the perfect match?
Proven experience leading or significantly contributing to customer or system migrations within a complex environment.
Demonstrable experience of making data-driven decisions to improve processes and outcomes.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Ability to work at pace, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving requirements in a dynamic environment.
A hands-on approach, willing to dive into the detail and actively resolve challenges.
Experience working within a regulated industry is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Smart metering processes and the energy market is a plus
