About the role

As the WHSE Officer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing safety programs, ensuring compliance with legislation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your work will help prevent incidents, mitigate risks, and promote the physical and psychological well-being of our team.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with WHSE legislation and internal standards.
• Develop, implement & maintain policies, procedures and training records.
• Ensure compliance with customer site requirements and contractor management.
• Conduct inspections, identify hazards, implement effective controls.
• Investigate incidents and support corrective actions.

What are we looking for?

• Degree or Diploma in WHS, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of WHSE legislation and best practices.
• Excellent communication, training, and coaching skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in safety management systems and reporting tools.
