We’re looking for a Senior Events Associate in the Denver, CO area.

 

About the Job

 

As a Senior Events Associate at Access, you will provide support to the Events Management team in an administrative capacity, as well as operate some programs on your own and in support of Events Managers.

 

 

What You'll Be Doing

 

Supports the Event Management team on an administrative basis and assists Events Managers with programs. This includes:

    • Secures event staff and ensures they are prepared for programs.
    • Supports in initiating key templates such as Program Overviews, Manifests and Signage.
    • Attends and supports on-site for various programs for building knowledge in operational aspects of Events management and working on-site with clients, vendors, and hoteliers.
    • Participates in vendor meetings to grow in industry supplier knowledge and relationships.
    • Supports Salesforce database management in terms of vendor and program information/details.
    • Secures vendors and works with procurement to confirm vendors are vetted and approved.
    • Performs tasks as assigned as the position evolves.
    • Works with other offices, teams and territories as needed.

 

Operates some smaller programs, including:

    • Manages all vendors required for a program.
    • Consults on behalf of clients and provides operational solutions, management of vendors, hotel, and budget.
    • Owns the SOW, additional deposit requests, and final invoicing.
    • Creates and manages key templates such as Program Overviews, Manifests and Signage.
    • Upsells services when applicable to increase revenue in addition to ownership of budget to obtain gross profit goals.
    • Connects with hotel conference service managers and onsite staff to ensure a seamless partnership for the client between DMC and Hotel.
    • Manages Event Staff assigned to a program and proactively prepares staff prior to a program to ensure consistent communication and operational excellence.
    • Supports Salesforce database management in terms of vendor and program information.
    • Works with procurement to confirm vendors are vetted and approved.
    • Ensures that KPI’s and Key Results are measured and met.

Nice-to-haves:

  • 1 - 3 years experience managing multiple clients and programs.
  • Experience in hospitality, preferably in planning and executing events.
