As Site Security Manager for our shared services Hub in Budapest, you are responsible for the effective management of all security risks that this dynamic and ever-expanding site is facing. The role is the first point of contact for the Hub leadership team in security-related questions and will operationally manage all security issues the site and its employees are facing. The role is also responsible for the implementation of global security policies and the development of local procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operational responsibility for the site security, owning and administrating all local technical security systems
  • Constant identification of potential security gaps and taking immediate action for remediation
  • Ensuring all security systems and procedures are effective and compliant with internal guidelines and national legal requirements
  • Coordinating security-related topics with the landlord and onsite security team
  • Local implementation of security programs including information protection, travel & event security, and emergency & crisis management
  • Promoting a strong Security Culture among all employees, onboarding newcomers, and rolling out security awareness campaigns
  • Reacting to security-related incidents and supporting the crisis management team when required
  • Serving as the Point of Contact for local law enforcement and building management in security issues

About You

Key Requirements:

  • Several years' experience in site security management or a similar role, preferably in a corporate/industrial environment
  • Bachelor's degree in security management or another field combined with security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP)
  • Knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies, with experience in physical security systems management and crisis management
  • Proficiency in English and Hungarian, both written and spoken
  • Strong collaboration skills within a global professional network
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and discreet team player with effective communication skills at all company levels
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant security laws and regulations
  • Prior experience in police or other security authority is a plus
