Under the supervision of the RPAC Facility Manager-Recreational Sports, oversee the hiring, onboarding and training, scheduling, and evaluation of student staff; facilitates student staff promotional process for Student Facility Manager and Student Facility Coordinator; reviews facility incident, accident and end of shift reports; follows up on student staff and patron disciplinary issues related to reports; approves student payroll, provides input and delivers facets of annual, semester, and weekly training and in-service opportunities for student staff; oversees and inspects cleaning responsibilities for facility operations staff; ensures proper facility coverage; provides professional staff presence during specified times including morning, evening, and weekend hours; certifies proper lifesaving certifications; works with special events team regarding reservations and events; assists with special events; responsible for keeping in line with budget including staffing and operation based on guidance from Facility Manager; directs student staff activities; performs administrative tasks including report management; maintains appropriate records; oversees assigned special projects; assists with all aspects of day-to-day operations of the RPAC including reporting maintenance and housekeeping issues, explanation of building emergency procedures, general building cleanliness and safety; assist with facility and fitness equipment upkeep.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.

Desired: Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience desired; experience in a management capacity desired; experience in a recreational sport setting desired. Red Cross First Aid, CPR/AED instructor or ability to obtain upon hire
