Our technology-driven care platform enables us to engage patients early, conduct individualized risk assessments for poor pregnancy outcomes, and deliver coordinated, personalized virtual care throughout pregnancy, NICU stays, and the first postpartum year. We measure ourselves by reductions in preterm births, NICU admissions, c-sections and maternal mortality; we improve outcomes and reduce healthcare spend.

What you'll do

At Pomelo, Salesforce is central to managing our core operations and connecting us with those we serve, driving our mission forward. We are seeking an experienced in-house Salesforce Administrator to lead the optimization and ongoing evolution of our Salesforce environment, ensuring it remains a robust, scalable, and maintainable platform.

This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact. You'll be the primary owner of our Salesforce platform, responsible for its health, development, and strategic alignment with our business goals across multiple departments. You will implement best practices, ensure high-quality deliverables, and provide responsive support to our dynamic teams. Key responsibilities
  • Platform ownership and administration: serve as the primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment. Manage all aspects of user and license management, profiles and roles, security settings, declarative automations (flows are key!), page layouts, custom objects, fields, and overall system health.
  • Process optimization and automation: design, build, test, and maintain robust and maintainable flows and other declarative automations to streamline patient outreach, enrollment processes, partnership workflows, and lead generation.
  • Integration management: oversee and manage integrations between Salesforce and other critical systems, including our TalkDesk dialer, backend systems, and data warehouse. troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, and collaborate with engineering on enhancements.
  • User support and training: act as the first point of contact for internal Salesforce users, providing timely support, troubleshooting issues, and developing/delivering training materials to enhance user adoption and proficiency.
  • Data management and reporting: ensure data integrity within Salesforce. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to provide actionable insights into patient outreach effectiveness, partnership performance, and lead conversion metrics.
  • Strategic improvement and collaboration: proactively identify opportunities for system improvements and process automation. Collaborate closely with Partnerships, Outreach, Engineering, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, translate business needs into effective Salesforce solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Documentation: create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all Salesforce configurations, processes, automations, and integrations.
Who you are
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Expert-level proficiency in Salesforce Flows for building complex and maintainable automations, with some experience implementing Apex classes
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting Salesforce integrations with third-party applications
  • Strong ability to analyze complex business requirements, identify inefficiencies, and design effective, scalable solutions. Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A self-starter who takes initiative, owns projects from start to finish, and is committed to building high-quality, sustainable solutions
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator is required. Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable
Bonus Points
  • Familiarity with healthcare operations, patient management workflows, and HIPAA compliance considerations within a CRM context
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with dialer systems (TalkDesk experience is a strong plus), backend systems, and data warehouses

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our company’s size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other opportunities at Pomelo Care. In accordance with New York City, Colorado, California, and other applicable laws, Pomelo Care is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity. Given that this role is open to candidates of different skill levels, determining a salary range is challenging. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $105,000 to $120,000. We expect most candidates to fall in the middle of the range.
