IT Internal Control and Compliance Lead (Open to Remote)

As an IT Internal Control and Compliance Lead, you will ensure that the organization’s IT systems and control processes are robust, compliant, and aligned with Sarbanes-Oxley and other relevant regulations. This role requires strong leadership in IT compliance, control design, and audit response management, while supporting initiatives related to PCI, Data Privacy, and system implementations. This position can follow a hybrid schedule with periodic travel to the Home Office in Manchester, CT.

Core Competencies & Expertise

• 5+ years of IT controls auditing, consulting, or implementation experience
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting systems (SAP, Oracle, Hybris, Dynamics)
• Experience auditing IT processes, infrastructure, and applications
• Hands-on testing of ITGC (IT General Controls)
• Familiarity with compliance for Sarbanes-Oxley, PCI, and Data Privacy
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to influence and drive alignment across departments
• Strong attention to detail and quality

Preferred Competencies & Skills

• Master’s Degree
• Experience managing PCI audits and working with QSA
• Experience developing and testing security controls and audit test plans
• Proven ability to automate internal control processes

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 5+ years of relevant IT controls and compliance experience
• Demonstrated experience in SOX, PCI, and Data Privacy compliance
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and project management skills
