Primary Details

Assist underwriters in underwriting of the various products (i.e. Marine, Property and Engineering products, Financial Lines and Liability, Accident and Health, Motor, Workers Compensation, SME and Home etc.) including triaging inquiries, preparing underwriting information, following up with intermediaries, and closing deals. Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and guidelines.

Your New Role:

  • Assist underwriters in underwriting of the various products (i.e. Marine, Property and Engineering products, Financial Lines and Liability, Accident and Health, Motor, Workers Compensation, SME and Home etc.) including triaging inquiries, preparing underwriting information, following up with intermediaries, and closing deals.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and guidelines.
  • Regularly collect, compile and analyze market info to share with the team.
  • Support credit control in payment collection when needed by coordinating with intermediaries.
  • Tracking, reporting and analyzing team’s referrals, backlogs and other productivity and efficiency related management requirements.
  • Be the digital ambassador of the team.
  • Recommend and implement initiatives in streamlining policies, processes and procedures to meet business needs.
  • Provide interpretation and advice regarding polices, process and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate data in relevant systems and databases.
  • Key Performance Indicator: Deliver business results by allocated intermediaries.
  • Key Performance Indicator: Meeting all operational KPIs.
  • Key Performance Indicator: Risk awareness and governance.

About You:

  • Minimum 3+ years of underwriting experience in insurance business together with relevant policy documentation handling experience.
  • Strong analytical, communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of the insurance industry.
