The Cyber Resiliency Architect is a key sales specialist role, supporting the broader sales organization with deep technical knowledge in a focus area of identity, specifically Active Directory and EntraID, but with future scope for other majority identity providers such as Okta. This means working with customers and prospects to educate them on how Rubrik protects, recovers, and monitors identities for both operational backup and cyber resilience use cases.
What You’ll Do:
Responsible for the end-to-end successful execution of proof of concept trials, with a specific focus on identity cyber security, but will also include ADFR (Active Directory Forest-Level Recovery), VM (Virtual Machine) based domain controller recovery, and granular domain and object recoveries in the use cases of operational backup and cyber recovery.
Provide real-world feedback to product teams to enhance the product, testing new features before they are released, and helping educate the sales organization on key components of their focus area technology.
Provide both immediate and long-term impact with your technical knowledge and position of influence with prospects, customers, and Rubrik partners, in addition to enabling the rest of the sales teams with your expertise and knowledge.
Provide technical guidance in customer-facing calls as required, both in person and remote.
Conduct in-depth sales discovery and alignment of technical capabilities to customer pain.
Serve as an Identity subject matter expert, covering Identity opportunities and enabling the sales team to effectively promote and sell cutting-edge identity solutions.
Assist with technical implementations of the product.
Work closely with sales teams from initial meetings through technical validation of the Rubrik solution.
Create and give presentations for technical enablement of the systems engineers.
Work with product management and engineering to discover and address product gaps, providing real-world knowledge on product use.
Experience You’ll Need:
Expert level knowledge in identity, identity resiliency, access management, backup and recovery in Active Directory, Entra ID, and Okta; additional identity providers are a bonus.
10+ years of experience working with Active Directory including object, domain and forest-level recoveries, group policy configuration, security best practices, and monitoring for malicious activity at a scale of at least 2,000 users/identities +.
Deep understanding and experience of Entra ID, Entra Connect, Entra ID users, groups, roles, enterprise apps, app registration, and conditional access policies.
Working knowledge and experience with Okta, day-to-day operations and deep knowledge and experience of configuring and maintaining integrations with Entra ID and Active Directory.
Working understanding and/or experience of Active Directory recovery in the event of a cyberattack.
Ideally hold an MCSE or equivalent role-based certification, and/or real-world experience.
Understanding & experience of virtualization architectures and VM-based recoveries.
A solid understanding of backup and recovery, immutability, availability, and disaster recovery architectures.
Scripting experience in relevant scripting languages like PowerShell.
Ability and experience giving technical presentations ranging from small to large audiences, or the confidence and expert knowledge to do so (will be validated in the interview process).
Ability to self-manage time and projects.
Previous experience working with, testing, purchasing, and/or selling Rubrik a bonus.
This is a remote work position with approximately 30% travel for on-site meetings as required.

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; this role is also eligible to earn commissions pursuant to the Company’s written Incentive Compensation Plan. Additionally, the role is eligible for equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
