Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Geospatial Project Manager to oversee and coordinate geospatial projects from initiation through completion. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge in photogrammetry and remote sensing, and the ability to manage resources and timelines effectively. The ideal candidate will be certified by the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) and possess extensive experience in managing aerial mapping, LiDAR, and GIS projects. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage geospatial projects, including aerial surveys, LiDAR acquisition, orthophoto production, and GIS data creation.
Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., technicians, analysts, and field crews) and external stakeholders to ensure project scope, schedule, and deliverables are met.
Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
Oversee quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) of geospatial deliverables.
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, address questions, and ensure satisfaction.
Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Utilize project management tools to track milestones and performance.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues in a timely manner.
Stay current with advancements in geospatial technologies and standards.
Provide mentorship and training to junior staff and technicians.
