High school diploma or GED required PLUS two (2) years of experience conducting tests in a research laboratory
Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework or degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or related scientific discipline
Experience with one or more of the following techniques:
Cell culture
Flow cytometry
RT-PCR
Fluorescent microscopy
Protein evaluation methods
Experience working with murine animal models is a plus.
Additional Information:
Conduct routine laboratory tests and experiments under supervision and according to established protocols
Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and monitoring of cell cultures
Perform molecular biology techniques, including RT-PCR, protein analysis, and basic immunoassays
Support flow cytometry experiments and assist in the analysis of resulting data
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and documentation
Assist with tissue processing and imaging using fluorescent microscopy
Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records, notebooks, and data logs
Collaborate with research staff on data collection, interpretation, and reporting
Participate in the preparation of materials for presentations, publications, and grant submissions
Ensure laboratory compliance with safety protocols and assist in inventory management
May assist with animal handling and support experiments involving murine models (if applicable)
