Data Operations Analyst

Remote, US

We are seeking a Data Operations Analyst on the Zonda Research Team. The Data Operations Analyst is responsible for managing a variety of data collection efforts, ensuring high-quality data management practices. This role requires the ability to work independently across diverse data sets. Success in this role will have opportunities and advancement in the firm and larger responsibilities on the Research Team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Maintain and manage variable, yet well-defined data collection efforts.
  • Independent Initiatives: Work independently on specific, deadline-driven data initiatives within a well-defined scope.
  • Data Quality Control: Keep a detailed log of data anomalies or deficiencies and collaborate with manager to troubleshoot data gaps.
  • Analytics Reporting: Provide weekly analytics of data collection efforts and brief the manager as necessary.
  • Critical Thinking: Apply advanced critical thinking skills to evaluate and interpret data beyond standard parameters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, economics, urban studies, or related fields demonstrating qualitative and quantitative analysis and reasoning.
  • Some work or internship experience in consulting, market research or real estate preferred.
  • Strong academic record.
  • Advanced skills in data management and analysis.
  • Proven ability to work independently and efficiently on diverse data sets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
