Human Resources Business Partner Manager – Remote (St Paul, MN or San Antonio, TX)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role 

Responsible for providing Human Resources Business Partner support for the Medical Surgical business. Accountable for the implementation of the People and Culture strategy, executing projects and initiatives, driving engagement of teams and boosting growth, performance and competitiveness of the organization.  

 

As a Human Resources Business Partner Manager, you will make an impact by: 

 

  • Deployment of MedSurg People and Culture strategies to drive employee engagement to achieve organizational goals. 

  • Lead talent planning for supported organizations to ensure talent priorities are defined and actioned to execute business strategies.  

  • Partner with leaders to execute organizational design initiatives in alignment with business priorities, portfolio decisions, operating model changes, etc. 

  • Provide coaching to leadership team members and their people leaders to ensure they are supported and that their voices are amplified into the broader Solventum organization. 

  • Drive actions and initiatives to create a high-performance culture. Establish governance, mechanisms and tools to better connect individual and organizational performance  

  • Implement change management strategies and actions to support employees in adapting to the evolving nature of a spin off organization and activate the Solventum values and culture.  

  • Responsible for the end-of-the-end process and execution of key programs such as team effectiveness, organizational optimization, leadership development, talent planning, employee development, etc 

  • Provide expertise in strategic workforce planning, including identifying current and anticipated capabilities and aligning the appropriate strategies to address. 

 

Your Skills and Expertise   

  •  Bachelor’s degree in an accredited institution AND 7 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a business partner role.  

OR 

  • High School Diploma/GED AND 11 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a business partner role. 

 

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required 

  • Excellent communication and influential skills, interpersonal skills and stakeholders’ managementProven ability to influence senior leaders and drive organizational change. 

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. 

  • Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. 

  • Project Management: The ability to plan and execute the project with autonomy and authority. 

 

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role included: 

  • Experience in large healthcare industry 

  • Driven by results  

  • Business Acumen: Understanding the business and its needs. 

  • Ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. 

  • Experience in a matrixed or global organization is a plus. 

  

Work location: Remote based in United States (San Antonio, TX or St. Paul, MN preferred) 

 

Travel: May include up to 20% travel domestic  

 

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $160,284 - $195,903, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
