DUTIES:                               Build and manage Java projects using Maven; perform version control using Git and GitHub; use Grafana, ELK (Elastic Search, Logstash, and Kibana) Stack, and Splunk for data analytics; use Jira, ALM, and Confluence for project management and bug tracking; develop broadband features using RDK-Broadband (RDK-B); analyze Wi-Fi networks, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and improve network performance using Wireshark, Acrylic Wi-Fi, and Wi-Fi Analyzer; develop automation test scripts and web applications using Selenium, TestNG, and Java; script using Python, Shell, and Bash; query MySQL database; work with networking protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and routing; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; and work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS:             Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience building and managing Java projects using Maven; performing version control using Git and GitHub; using Grafana, ELK (Elastic Search, Logstash, and Kibana) Stack, and Splunk for data analytics; using Jira, ALM, and Confluence for project management and bug tracking; developing broadband features using RDK-Broadband (RDK-B); analyzing Wi-Fi networks, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and improving network performance using Wireshark, Acrylic Wi-Fi, and Wi-Fi Analyzer; of which one (1) year includes developing automation test scripts and web applications using Selenium, TestNG, and Java; scripting using Python, Shell, and Bash; querying MySQL database; and working with networking protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and routing
