Job Summary

Job Description

DUTIES:                               Contribute to a team responsible for understanding and contextualizing business problems and opportunities by using SQL to write database queries; perform data modeling using Erwin and Sybase Power Designer; design data models using Kimball Dimensional Modeling Techniques; work with data warehouse tools and technologies, including Databricks and ETL; work with Teradata and Minio; perform project management within the complete Software Development Life Cycle in an Agile development environment; facilitate the end-to-end process through delivery on associated data operations (architecture, integration, engineering) contingencies; fully define user stories that refine the complex business problem into a way that technical teams can both understand and leverage, enabling efficient hand-offs and hedging bottlenecks or development risks; continually collaborate with HQ and division marketing and finance leads, as well as business intelligence practice to understand how the associated data project(s) adheres to the broader Marketing reporting and analytics roadmap, itemizing specific opportunities to help shape and influence a more scalable and sustainable analytics environment; and act as residential marketing data subject matter expert in broader initiatives with external domains (Enterprise Business Intelligence, Sales, Finance, etc.) and help foster knowledge transfers and system/platform requirements to bridge disparate business requirements. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS:             Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience using SQL to write database queries; performing data modeling using Erwin; designing data models using Kimball Dimensional Modeling Techniques; of which one (1) year includes working with data warehouse tools and technologies, including Databricks and ETL; working with Teradata; and working within the complete Software Development Life Cycle in an Agile development environment
