About The Role

The Senior Analyst, Capital Planning & Analysis - Global supports the internal reinsurance initiatives ceded to Corebridge Insurance Company of Bermuda (CICB) including capital modeling, analytics, and forecasting, responding to regulatory requests from Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA), and supporting management with what-if analysis to optimize the company’s capital.  The person in this role will work closely with other members of the Capital Planning & Analysis team, Reinsurance, Corporate Actuarial, Investments, Treasury and Accounting teams.

The Senior Analyst, Capital Planning & Analysis - Global will report to the AVP, Capital Planning & Analysis - Global.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Bermuda capital models used for internal reinsurance transactions
  • Prepare estimates and forecasts of CICB capital to support effective and efficient business decision making and regulatory applications
  • Develop sensitivities and what-if analysis for CICB capital
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of business plans in quarterly and annual Bermuda Solvency Capital Reporting (BSCR)
  • Implement and maintain appropriate control framework, including model governance processes and best practices
  • Participate in internal discussions with the Treasury, Investments, Actuarial, and Enterprise Risk Management teams on Bermuda capital matters

Skills & Experience

  • 5 plus years' experience in financial industry; actuarial and / or reinsurance, investment and / or risk management experience in the insurance industry strongly preferred
  • A degree in a quantitative field preferred; professional certification (e.g., ASA, CFA, CPA, FSA) a plus
  • Experience working with statutory and / or Bermuda capital reporting and analytics, actuarial, reinsurance transactions, and / or capital markets
  • Experience with financial and insurance risk modeling
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Support effective partnerships with key internal stakeholders and demonstrate strong collaboration skills
  • Must be responsive to leadership requests and comfortable performing effectively in a fast-paced environment with cross functional partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Able to work & effectively present to senior members of the Finance team
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.

Work Location

If the position is based in one of Corebridge Financials' hub offices which is Houston, TX, Jersey City, NJ. or Woodland Hills, CA office the role is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely. However, we are open to considering full remote candidates outside of these areas.
