FP&A Manager

 

Location:                      Remote, USA
Employment Type:    Full-Time
Compensation:          $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 (Range applies to US candidates only) + Benefits/Variable Comp/Equity - Range may vary based on experience.

Summary

The FP&A Manager will report to the Senior Manager of Shared Services Finance and serve as a strategic partner to G&A leadership and operational teams. This role is responsible for aligning financial planning processes with the company’s overall strategy and supporting the achievement of key business goals and metrics. The FP&A Manager will take a proactive, data-driven approach to measuring performance, delivering meaningful financial reporting and analysis, and providing actionable business insights.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with G&A leadership and operational teams throughout OneStream’s annual and strategic planning processes to develop relevant functional roadmaps, execution plans, and key metrics in service of measuring success vs. the company’s short- and long-term financial and operational targets.
  • Collaborate with functional BPs and Corporate FP&A team to maintain the monthly G&A headcount and expense forecasts. 
  • Coordinate and lead Monthly Operational Review meetings with G&A leadership and Shared Services business partners (e.g. HRBPs, Recruiting, Accounting, et al.) to analyze and report on performance and enable timely, agile and informed decision-making.
  • Assist in continued development or improvement of processes through identification of inefficiencies; collaborate to document and share operational best practices.
  • Initiate, conduct, and translate detailed, unstructured analyses into clear, data-driven storylines and actionable insights and proposal.

 

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related discipline.
  • 5-7+ years of progressive FP&A experience in increasingly expansive roles with a track record of consistent and sustained success and development.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Knowledge and application of fundamental FP&A and financial accounting principles, ideally within a high-growth, B2B enterprise software / SaaS public company environment.
  • Experience building driver-based financial models of varying, scenario-dependent complexity, coupled with associated understanding of related outputs and impacts.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to relate ideas, outcomes, and impacts clearly and concisely in line with audience-specific familiarity and expectations.
  • Exceptional planning, prioritization, and organization skills.
  • Ability to perform and deliver under tight timelines in a demanding, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in all settings and situations.
