Job Title: Housekeeping Aide Long Term Care Facility

Job Summary:
Join our team as a Housekeeping Aide to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff. Responsibilities include cleaning, laundry, and waste management within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness of rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. Follow infection control protocols.
- Laundry: Wash, fold, and distribute linens and resident clothing. Ensure proper handling of laundry items.
- Waste Management: Properly dispose of waste (general, recyclables, medical waste). Keep waste areas clean.
- Safety: Follow safety protocols and infection control measures. Report hazards immediately.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with staff and assist in other housekeeping tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience, preferably in healthcare.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
- Physical ability to lift and perform manual tasks.
