Management of working capital investment in stock to company parameters.
Effectively forecasting inventory requirements across the business with the relevant people
Development of effective measures to monitor performance across the supply chain and taking action to correct deviations to achieve departmental objectives
Management of all risk and commercial aspects of insurance (site assessment etc)
Management of regions IT requirements (reporting to the Exec in charge of this portfolio).
Management of the full SAP function which includes system support, all Masterdata, system developments, and new projects.
Roll out of new SAP4HANA System
Analysis of Masterdata variances and the correction thereof.
Product costing management (raw materials and overheads)
Contract management Service Level Agreements, MOUs, Leases)
Monitoring the adherence to ISO 9001/FSSC22000 supply chain procedures across the group and amongst suppliers where relevant
Manage and drive organisational cost and savings projects across the supply chain (purchasing, planning, stores and distribution)
Ability to create and develop training material to train the relevant parts of the business.
Qualifications and experience:
SAICA qualification or Bcom Honours Degree in Finance or Supply Chain Management
Registered CA (SA)
Have at least 4-5 years experience in a commercial supply chain role and 2-3 years in a Management role.
Proficient with SAP is advantageous
Strong / proven negotiation skills
Strong planning and organising skills
An ability to influence others
Have an ability to see opportunities and turn them into reality
