Job description

IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an upbeat, focused, and detailed individual to join the Membership Sales team to help support our growing number of customers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with customers and responding to incoming inquiries. In this role, you will provide customer support to our Rosetta Stone and IXL users. This person must be well-organized and extremely personable. We are looking for a quick learner who is flexible and can take on a variety of projects. #LI-RD1

This is a full-time position in our Harrisonburg, VA office. The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday in the office with the option to work from home one day per week.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Provide exceptional service and support to prospective customers
  • Perform tasks related to sales support such as answering inbound sales and product questions, providing pricing information, and logging customer communication in Salesforce
  • Effectively communicate key product features and benefits to customers via phone and email
  • Process customer credit card payments
  • Initiate customer transfers to technical or customer support staff
  • Complete related projects successfully and promptly
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • BA/BS Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in call center-style phone support
  • Energetic, positive, mature person who works well independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and exceptionally organized
  • Exceptional critical thinking, research, and problem-solving skills
