Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding an Infrastructure Director to their team in the Ormond Beach, FL Metro Region. 

Job Summary:

The Director of IT Infrastructure is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of the organization’s technology infrastructure. This includes service desk, company owned assets, and communication infrastructures. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, a proven track record of team development and leadership and a focus on delivering secure, reliable, and scalable IT services that align with business goals.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute the IT infrastructure strategy to support current and future business needs.
  • Develop and grow the infrastructure team through mentorship, development and performance management.
  • Establish, maintain, and enforce policies and procedures under the ITIL framework.
  • Oversee infrastructure operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability of all systems.
  • Develop and monitor key metrics for infrastructure health, cost-efficiency, and user satisfaction.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for infrastructure-related services and products.
  • Manage IT infrastructure projects from concept to completion, including budgeting, resourcing, and timelines.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and trends; assess and integrate new tools and platforms to improve infrastructure effectiveness and security.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and inspire.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid project management skills and experience working in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets and forecast future infrastructure needs.
  • Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL, PMP, ServiceNow Platform Owner / Administrator, or similar certifications.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8–10+ years of IT experience with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role focused on infrastructure.
  • Experience with ServiceNow deployment and operations
  • Proven experience managing enterprise infrastructure in complex, multi-site environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructures (Azure), communications (VOIP systems, Network, Internet), Service Management.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices.
