Job description

Penn Psychiatric Center an Outpatient Mental Health facility in two locations, Chester and Montgomery counties is looking for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner- Board Certified (PMHNP-BC) or Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist- Board Certified (PMHCNS-BC). Join our dynamic team of clinical professionals who are dedicated to providing individuals with individualized, strength based, and recovery oriented services. PPC boasts a wide array of programs and is considered a standard bearer for many programs within the community. The opportunity is tailored to the individual need with full time employee or part-time contractor positions available. Starting salary is competitive with ample opportunity for growth within the organization. Responsibilities include completing psychiatric evaluation and evaluation updates, medication management, patient education and collaborating with our excellent team of psychiatrists, psychologists and master's level clinicians. Position is initially in person with transition to remote or hybrid remote optional.

Requirements

Essential Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nursing

• Nursing Licensure as required for advanced practice nursing in PA

• Board Certified as PMHCNS-BC or PMHNP-BC

• Current and unrestricted DEA in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

• PA Criminal, Child Abuse and DHS FBI clearances required

Penn Psychiatric is an approved site for the Pennsylvania Primary Health Care Loan Repayment Program.


Eligible practitioners can receive loan repayment by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services.

Physicians: Up to $100,000 full-time, up to $50,000 half-time.
Other Practitioners: Up to $60,000 full-time, up to $30,000 half-time.
