\nSeeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient psychiatric services at CCHCF and Tsaile Health Center. Services include patient evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The position requires experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
Responsibilities:
\nPerform psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans
\nProvide outpatient and inpatient psychiatric care
\nDeliver psychopharmacology and psychotherapy services
\nManage psychiatric crises and consult on complex cases
\nWork collaboratively with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other staff
\nUtilize the Electronic Health Record (EHR) for documentation
\nParticipate in performance improvement initiatives and peer review
\nCulturally sensitive care respectful of Navajo traditions and customs
\nQualifications:
\nCompletion of 36-month Psychiatry Residency
\nBoard Certified by ABPN or AOBP; Child & Adolescent Certification preferred
\nUnrestricted license to practice in any U.S. state or territory
\nActive DEA registration (Schedules II–V)
\nCurrent CPR/BLS Certification
\nMinimum 6 months post-residency experience
\nFamiliarity with HIPAA, Privacy Act, and federal health standards
\nFitness for Duty Certification
