Job description

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant tax experience with a minimum of 3 years UAE experience in a Tax & Financial Advisory role.
  • Have good knowledge of Tax, Financial Accounting and Compliance matters.
  • Experience in financial advisory and other related financial services and products.
  • Complying with tax laws and obligation.
  • Working to set standards of performance.
  • Producing ideas (for the customer and the department).
  • Personal standards (commitment, attitude, appearance, contribution, Excellent Client interface at all times and all costs.
  • Proficient in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage client portfolios and advise them on the most appropriate Tax, Accounting, and Compliance services & solutions.
  • Provide excellent customer service thereby increasing the satisfaction and quality of experience.
  • Acquire and maintain a high level of UAE TAX, Accounting and Compliance knowledge, to be seen as an 'expert' and a credible source of information and to demonstrate the quality of companys offer.
  • Represent company professionally in client interactions.
  • Develop policies and procedures for tax purposes and ensure adequate resources are available to deliver services of the highest standard.
  • Monitor reporting and planning to ensure compliance with applicable tax obligations and regulations.
  • Responsible for achieving KPIs for self.
  • Reviewing the companys tax returns and assisting the relevant teams in the accuracy, timely fulfilment of all tax obligations.
  • Suggesting the opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures to the line Manager.
  • Manage the team taking charge of clients tax return, tax registration, tax deregistration and other tax engagements.
  • Prepare and maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process, and update them when required.
  • Reviewing the clients tax returns, VAT registration and deregistration applications.
  • Reviewing the clients voluntary disclosures to incorporate amendments in originally filed VAT returns.
  • Filing of VAT refund application on behalf of clients.
  • Filing of penalty waiver and reconsiderations to assist the client with tax penalty frameworks
  • Manage and mentor members of tax team to greater levels of effectiveness and engagement.
