Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure test coordination/execution is aligned with product/program strategy by working with Product Management, Product Owners
  • Optimize test processes including defect management and reporting
  • Contribute to building quality into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using best practices and tools
  • Manage test execution and assist with resolving, communicating or escalating any issues that may result in test plan variance
  • Ensure alignment and sign off for test strategy and test completion from business and other stakeholders
  • Assist in identifying and managing Testing risks and Optimize test strategy employing techniques such risk-based testing etc.
Requirements:
  • QA Professional with Functional & Automation knowledge with ability to act as Test Lead and support parallel projects in Agile delivery model
  • 7-10 years of applicable experience in Test Management and Execution
  • 2+ experience in Banking domain. Exposure to Treasury/Payment systems
  • Required - JIRA, Agile methodologies and past hands-on experience on Test Automation with tools like Octane, qTest, Selenium, SOA Tester
  • Strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously and independently in fast-paced environment
  • Experience in coordinating functional, regression and End-to-End testing
  • Experience in reporting testing status and progress to LOB and technology teams.
  • Experience in defect management and coordinate with the project team
  • Experienced in designing test plans, defining test cases, generating, and maintaining test scripts, analyzing defects, interacting with other team internal test and external project members
  • Experience in developing, and executing test cases, test status and test result documents
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and changing environment
  • Ability to communicate with LOB and technology teams
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple teams in diverse locations
Desired skills:
  • Familiarity with testing different file and message formats – SWIFT, CAMT, XML, BAI2, CSV , MTXXX a definite plus
  • Test Lead experience
  • Experience in Functional & Automation Testing
  • Experience in Test scripts/Test execution & Defect reporting; End-to-end Test coordination.
Pay range : $48.85 - $56.85
