Mobile Solutions Architect Contractor- Remote (U.S. based)

We’re looking for a Mobile Solutions Architect Contractor with deep iOS expertise to help design and build scalable, secure, and high-performing mobile solutions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about architecture and hands-on development, who enjoys solving complex problems and collaborating with teams.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement mobile solutions that meet project requirements and deliver great user experiences.

• Define and document mobile app architecture and design specifications.

• Select the right technologies and frameworks for each solution.

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate mobile solutions with existing systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in mobile applications.

• Ensure apps are scalable, secure, maintainable, and performant.

What We’re Looking For

• 15+ years of iOS development with Swift and SwiftUI.

• Strong knowledge of CLEAN architecture and SOLID principles.

• Experience building reusable SDKs and frameworks.

• Skilled in SwiftUI and UIKit for UI design and lifecycle management.

• Expertise in SQLite and SwiftData for data storage.

• Strong TDD practices, with experience in unit and UI testing.

• Ability to build apps for both iPhone and iPad, in portrait and landscape modes.

• Proficiency in multithreading, memory management, and error handling.

• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and caching strategies (e.g., NSCache).

• Performance tuning using Instruments.

• Proficient with Git, SourceTree, and setting up CI/CD pipelines (Azure, Jenkins).

• Strong integration experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures for optimized app performance.

Bonus:
Experience working in large enterprise environments or consulting engagements is a plus.
