The Credentialing Coordinator supports the Credentialing Department by processing credentialing and re-credentialing provider applications daily within an expected timeline, accuracy and production target and in accordance with the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) guidelines using both internal and outsourced Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO). The Credentialing Coordinator will coordinate with dental providers, dental offices and internal departments to obtain necessary documentation and information.

 

Job Summary Details

  • Collect, review and process credentialing applications for initial and re-credentialing are complete, accurate, and in compliance with NCQA, URAC, State and Federal guidelines, and in accordance with Liberty’s Policies and Procedures.
  • Serve as a point of contact for providers, vendors, and internal teams regarding credentialing-related inquiries and issues.
  • Communicate clearly, effectively and timely to providers upon request of credentialing questions via phone, email and fax.
  • Ensure accurate data entry into credentialing database.
  • Work with outsourced Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO) and Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) as directed.
  • Monitor and maintain credentialing reports related to credentialing status and expiration dates.
  • Achieve and maintain required credentialing timeframe and production standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate by management.
Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • High School or GED required
  • 2 Years previous network management experience in Dental environment; dental office management, managed healthcare, sales, and/or customer service experience required with a minimum of 1 year credentialing experience preferred.

 

Specific Skills/Knowledge

  • Experience with NCQA, URAC, State and Federal regulations and guidelines preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge in all Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Minimum typing speed of 50 wpm
  • Applicant must pass position specific assessment test for consideration
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented, have strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and must be able to take direction well
  • Ability to identify problems, research issues and follow through until resolved.

 

 

Location

Our employees are distributed in office locations in multiple markets across the United States. We are unable to hire or allow employees to work outside of the United States. Ideal candidates will reside near one of our Office Locations in Tustin, CA, Las Vegas, NV, Oklahoma City, OK, Uniondale, NY, or Tampa, FL!

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, the base hourly rate for this position is $20.00 - $24.00, not including fringe benefits or potential bonuses. At Liberty, your final base pay will be determined by factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience. We are committed to pay equity and also consider the internal equity of our current team members when making final compensation decisions.

 

Please note that the range listed represents the full base pay range for this role. Typically, offers are not made at the top of the range to allow for future salary growth.
