The Richmond Campus of Bryant & Stratton College is accepting applications for a full-time Associate Professor of Nursing/Nursing Skills Lab Assistant.

Position Overview:
This dual-role position supports the delivery of nursing education through a combination of Nursing Skills Lab and Simulation, and classroom/clinical instruction. The role ensures the lab is equipped and functional for student practice and faculty use, while also teaching assigned nursing courses.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating lab sessions in collaboration with faculty and lab leadership.
• Ensure availability and proper functioning of equipment and supplies for all scheduled lab activities.
• Support setup, operation, and breakdown of skills and simulation activities.
• Monitor supply usage and maintain lab inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of lab activities for reporting and compliance purposes.
• Teach nursing courses (skills and/or clinical) as assigned.
• Prepare and facilitate simulations using high-fidelity manikins and equipment.
• Participate in curriculum development, simulation planning, and department initiatives.
• Attend mandatory meetings.
• Serve on program committees such as the Simulation Committee.
• Demonstrate ongoing professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Nursing Leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Virginia.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred or in progress.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and simulation software/equipment (e.g., Laerdal, Gaumard).
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with a diverse student population.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous teaching or clinical instruction experience in a post-secondary setting.
• Experience with simulation facilitation.
