Position: EHS Coordinator

Trelleborg Medical Solutions is currently accepting applications for an EHS Coordinator. The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of EHS programs and policies within the site. They ensure compliance with safety regulations, conduct safety inspections, and support incident reporting and investigations. EHS Coordinators play a key role in promoting a safe and environmentally responsible workplace while assisting with administrative and compliance-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training, permits, and compliance-related documents.
- Safety Training: Assisting in the development and delivery of EHS training programs to educate employees.
- Safety Inspections: Conducting routine safety inspections and audits of the workplace.
- Incident Reporting: Managing the reporting and investigation of workplace accidents, incidents, safety observations, or near-misses, and collaborating with relevant personnel to prevent recurrence.
- EHS Policies: Assisting in the development and implementation of EHS policies and procedures.
- Emergency Response Planning: Contributing to the development and maintenance of emergency response plans and procedures for various contingencies.
- Safety Equipment and PPE: Monitoring and maintaining safety equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensuring their availability and proper use.
- Safety Communication: Facilitating communication between employees and management regarding safety concerns, initiatives, and compliance requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Assisting in identifying workplace hazards, evaluating risks, and recommending improvements.
- Reporting and Data Analysis: Preparing reports and analyzing EHS data to track performance, identify trends, and provide information for decision-making.

Estimated compensation package: $67,000-$72,000

Education:
- Relevant certifications or degrees are preferred.
