About the role:

Are you a highly motivated Senior Developer looking to make an impact in a collaborative, fast-paced environment? We’re looking for an experienced developer to join our dynamic R&D team in Ireland. You’ll contribute to building our next-generation, cloud-native SaaS platform and play a key role in delivering innovative products for purpose-driven organizations.
This role offers the opportunity to work on complex systems, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the technical evolution of our accounting and financial products.

What you’ll do:
  • Development: Design, develop, and maintain cloud services and applications using Azure and AWS technologies.
  • Implementation: Implement integrations with external APIs, third-party services, and internal systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, architects, and fellow engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Scalability and Performance: Ensure applications are scalable and performant, identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks.
  • Security: Implement secure coding practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices, sharing knowledge with the team and contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Documentation: Contribute to documentation of code, architecture, and processes to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.

What you bring:
  • Required:
    • Proficiency in C# .NET Core.
    • Experience with modern UI frameworks (React or Blazor).
    • Familiarity with Azure DevOps Pipelines.
    • Strong knowledge of MSSQL/Azure SQL.
  • Experience with one or more:
    • RESTful Service APIs.
    • Redis.
    • Azure Durable Functions.
    • Modern Reporting Technologies (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.).
    • Kafka or other streaming technologies.
  • Additional skills (ideal):
    • Experience with .NET 4.x and classic web forms.
    • Familiarity with Telerik, SignalR, and SSRS.
    • General knowledge of accounting principles, payment processing, or payroll systems.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a software developer, with at least 2 years focusing on cloud services development.
  • Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Solid communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
