Job Title: ICT Project Manager (Senior)

Location: Kildare, W23 X3PH

-         Candidates must be willing to work from this location.

-         Blended offsite/onsite working arrangement.

Contract Duration: 12 months with further extensions

No Of Positions: 1

 

Attendance Pattern:

·         Working within the island of Ireland is mandatory.

·         Minimum attendance of two days per week at the office.

·         Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (excluding breaks), between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

·         Excludes public holidays observed in the Republic of Ireland.

 

Mandatory Requirements (Pass/Fail)

ü  Experience Level: The candidate must have more than 7 years of relevant ICT Project Manager experience at a senior level.

ü  Availability: The candidate must be available to commence work from 3rd November 2025.

ü  English Language Proficiency: The candidate must be fluent in both spoken and written English

The role of the Project Manager is to co-ordinate the team outputs and to liaise with the CLIENT Project Manager, the Technical Architect and Technical Lead to ensure the service is delivered effectively to a high quality and within the agreed time frames. This includes (but is not limited to):

 

·         Ensure the service is delivered effectively to a high quality, on time, on budget, to quality standards, and within agreed scope.

·         Plan and oversee multiple complex areas of work and/or projects simultaneously.

·         The provision of work progress reports (oral and written) at intervals as required by the Client Project Manager.

·         Engage with Client team to agree work priorities and support as identified by the business.

·         Assist in the estimation of work effort in consultation with the Technical Architect/ Technical team leads.

·         Allocation of tasks to the contractor development team.

·         Identify and notify any issues/risks affecting the projects to the Client Project Manager.

·         Maintain contractor resource demand and capacity plans.

·         Manage contractor resource absences.

·         Preparation and maintenance of relevant project documentation.

·         Dealing with general administration, including human resources administration issues, for the contract development team.

·         Ensure that appropriate governance is followed for all projects and developments.

·         Ensuring resource team cohesion and addressing issues as they arise

·         Has worked with business and project teams to ensure sufficient development resources are available and effectively applied to application development projects and that development practices, standards and techniques are understood and adhered to.

·         Demonstrated evidence of displaying strong planning and organisation skills.

·         Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage the personal tasks assigned by the CLIENT Project Manager and the tasks of the delivery team across various projects to strict deadlines.

·         Demonstrated evidence of project budget management.

Demonstrated expertise of project delivery methodologies, application development lifecycle and Agile development model.
