Job Description & Summary

About the role:

We are looking for 2 Junior Digital Learning Developer & Coordinator ( 1 x Permanent and 1 x FTC to June 2026) to join the Global Assurance Quality - Learning and Education (GAQ - L&E) team, based in London. The successful candidate will report into the GAQ - L&E Digital Development Lead.  

 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build skills in the learning industry. No prior experience in this area is required, though the successful candidate must have a strong aptitude for technology and be able to give examples to demonstrate this. They must also have an interest in building a career in workplace learning and strong communication skills. 

What you days will look like:

  • Creating new / updating existing eLearns, videos, animations and assessments using industry standard authoring tools

  • Reviewing build documentation to ensure it meets requirements prior to commencing build and proactively escalating if not 

  • Creating simple images and / or making minor edits to graphics 

  • Recording and editing audio 

  • Critically self-reviewing own work to correct any errors 

  • Actioning review comments raised by others and working with reviewers to resolve comments (including proactively reaching out when clarification is needed) 

  • Conducting spot checks on the work of peers to ensure consistency and quality across all digital learning materials 

  • Conducting technical testing of digital learning solutions to ensure they function correctly.                                                  

  • Managing the deployment process to the Learning Management System (including providing required details to the deployment team and performing related quality assurance testing) 

  • Providing multimedia specifications to vendors (e.g. graphics designs, video production companies etc) 

  • Driving own tasks forward, prioritising based on importance and urgency, seeking input from experienced team members when needed 

  • Proactively communicating status and flagging potential challenges in a timely manner 

  • Assisting the project manager in project planning and resource management 

  • Coordinating meetings including sending out invites, capturing minutes and communicating actions 

This role is for you if:

  • Aptitude for technology and ability to autonomously learn new skills quickly 

  • Ability to learn and effectively use a range of digital learning authoring tools: Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Audacity and Vyond                           

  • Ability to communicate effectively with project teams including providing status updates, proactively asking questions when clarification or support is needed and highlighting potential challenges in a timely manner  

  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to keep track of multiple tasks and timelines simultaneously, ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks 

  • Applies a high level of attention to detail and ability to follow processes 

  • Embraces change and comfortable working under pressure 

  • Ability to work independently and drive oneself to complete tasks without constant supervision
