Job description

Job Purpose:  

The Administrative Marketing Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting the marketing and channel teams by managing administrative tasks, coordinating marketing activities, and ensuring smooth execution of partner programs and campaigns. This position is essential in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting the growth of channel partnerships through organized and timely support.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support for the channel marketing team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining documentation.

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of partner programs, campaigns, and promotions.

  • Manage and track Market Development Funds (MDF), including processing requests, maintaining records, and generating reports.

  • Support the quarterly promotion process by organizing materials, tracking deadlines, and communicating with partners.

  • Distribute and track channel leads, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate reporting.

  • Maintain and update partner databases, contact lists, and program documentation.

  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and marketing materials using Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Coordinate internal communications and follow-ups across departments such as sales, product marketing, and operations.

  • Monitor and report on key metrics related to partner engagement and campaign performance.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Required Education: Bachelor's Degree

  • 3–5 years of experience in administrative, marketing support, or communications roles.

  • Experience working with B2B Channel partners such as DMR’s, Distributors, Resellers

  • Must have strong analytical skills with extreme proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Professional presence and communications skills

  • Possesses strong data entry skills.

  • Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.

  • Able to use common office equipment.

  • Able to perform complex mathematical calculations.

  • Able to demonstrate complex problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.

  • Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency

  • Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.

  • Able to converse and write effectively in English and other local / regional language.

  • Able to create and conduct formal presentations.

  • Able to interact effectively with higher levels of management (managers & above)

  • Able to negotiate skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively.

  • Understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively with people across various identities.

  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.

  • Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.

  • Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.

  • Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.

  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

  • Able to effectively multi-task.

  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Able to use relevant computer systems and applications at an advanced level.
