Position Summary/Purpose:
The Club Sports Development Coordinator is responsible for the fundraising processes, logistics and management overseeing all operational aspects of Club Sports Fundraising and Development. To assist in coordination of team travel and oversight of all expenses and revenue regarding Club Sports.
This individual provides leadership & accountability for successful Development operations that results in accuracy, timeliness, and profitability without compromising company standards for quality.
Primary Responsibilities /Accountabilities/ Essential Functions:
Manage department plan for strategic direction in fundraising in association with the revenue and expense budget. Directs oversight and continuous training of Club Sports members in processes for GCU Advancement. Provides clear and effective communication between club sports and GCU Advancement Ensures department efficiencies are met daily and makes recommendations for upgrades based on consistent evaluation of workplace procedures regarding Fundraising. Assist in forecasting operating costs of department and helps preparation of fundraising budget requests. Serve as a department ranking staff member on duty for game day operations, which includes, but is not limited to, serving as a first responder for emergency and providing emergency care, providing customer service, resolving conflicts, and making decision and judgments regarding program and facility usage. Ensure proper training of fundraising procedures and ongoing training for staff members, student workers, and volunteers. Provides clear guidance regarding fundraising policies and ensures proper procedural interpretation of each club sport and its spending requirements. Manages the process of tracking expenses and reconciling of purchase orders. Additional assignments/projects as assigned to ensure success of Club Sports Development.
