ABOUT THE ROLE
The Director of Quality plays a critical leadership role in building and executing proactive quality strategies across the product lifecycle—from pre-production through final delivery. This position is responsible for implementing scalable quality systems, ensuring that each style meets defined performance, fit, and compliance standards.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product Development, Design, and Technical teams during the development and fit phases to influence product readiness. -
Own the development and execution of a unified quality strategy—spanning fabric testing, pre-production evaluation, and compliance with regulatory requirements in all operating markets.
-
Leverage customer data (ratings, reviews, returns) to lead root cause analysis and proactive quality improvements across UA private-branded products.
-
Build and maintain robust reporting tools to track and communicate inbound and outbound quality metrics at UA Factory and the Distribution Center. Ensure alignment and collaboration across teams and locations.
-
Manage a cross-functional team of 4 direct reports located at the UA Factory, Distribution Center, and Corporate Office.
-
Travel up to 50% to domestic and international facilities to ensure quality standards are consistently met and improved.
