Role and Responsibilities

Samsung Electronics America (SEA) is seeking a highly experienced End-to-end (E2E) Technical Project Manager who is responsible for new networks, products, and software release management for Wireless Network customers. The Project Manager will manage strategy, planning, scheduling, and tracking of day-to-day project activities effectively and efficiently for our customers.

  • Manage customer deliverables to meet customer expectations and requirements.
  • Leads and manages new product and SW feature/package development, validation, and implementation for wireless customers.
  • Manage and coordinate resources (personnel, equipment, tools, etc.) for projects and activities to complete them successfully.
  • Manage risks and mitigations to minimize impacts to the customers.
  • Communications and reporting for internal teams, management, and external customers.
  • Manage multiple projects and customers simultaneously for the success and growth of the wireless networks business.

Qualifications

  • Engineering or Management Undergraduate Degree from an accredited university (advanced degree is a plus).
  • 6+ years in Technical Project/Product Management related activities.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Networks and/or Telecommunications Projects.
  • Strong background in 4G and 5G networks in wireless technologies. 
  • Previously management of wireless new product and/or SW package development and delivery for a major operator.
  • Experience with developing and implementing Project Management benchmarks and best practices.
  • Background in managing multiple projects and/or activities simultaneously.
  • Experience in developing and managing outside vendors.
  • Experience working and coordinating activities from multiple groups.
  • In-direct Personnel Management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A background in virtualized networks is preferred.
