About The Role: The Production Operator (Redissolve) is a highly proficient, all-around production operator who independently executes diverse operational activities, operates advanced machinery, and supports production targets in a 24/7 environment at Selko in Indianapolis.

Responsibilities: 

• Operational Execution: Operates and monitors production systems, including the redissolve system and various equipment, performing calculations for chemical adjustments and executing a wide range of operational activities from discharge to transport to ensure efficient and safe production
• Maintenance Support: Conducts routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, identifies defects, performs minor repairs, and assists maintenance staff with more extensive tasks
• Data Management & Reporting: Accurately logs production data and information into relevant systems and logbooks to maintain comprehensive records and track progress
• Process Optimization: Identifies and reports deviations in current processes, proactively suggesting improvements and potentially participating in optimization projects
• Safety & Compliance: Adheres strictly to all safety, environmental, and quality regulations, promotes safety awareness, addresses hazardous situations, and maintains excellent housekeeping in the work area. 

Skills and Expertise  

Qualifications: 

• Minimum 1+ years’ experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
