Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.
Planate Management Group is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Tax Lead Coordinator to join our global team on a part-time, remote, and independent contractor basis. This position is open to professionals based in the Philippines and will support worldwide tax activities for all Planate entities.
As a Tax Lead Coordinator, you will play a vital role in tracking tax deadlines, coordinating with both internal teams and external tax consultants, and supporting various tax compliance tasks across jurisdictions. You will work directly with the CFO and operate with limited supervision—ideal for a proactive, deadline-driven individual who thrives in a structured yet flexible environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate with tax consultants in the Philippines and Southeast Asia to ensure timely tax filings and payments
Gather and provide financial data and supporting documents to tax consultants (e.g., preliminary financials, revenue breakdowns, etc.)
Prepare and file non-income tax reports and payments (e.g., VAT, expanded withholding tax, documentary stamp tax)
Assist in tax registrations for new business operations or expansion within the region
Collaborate with the Compliance and HR teams to ensure business permits and annual filings are submitted in accordance with tax timelines
Conduct online research on regional tax compliance requirements
Attend virtual meetings to report tax task progress and status updates
Support special projects and perform other duties as required
