  • This is a Monday – Friday position
  • Salary - $89,955 base + superannuation + salary packaging
  • Hybrid working arrangement - 2x days in our Bowen Hills Group Office QLD, 3x days WFH every week
  • This is a fixed-term contract until 1 September 2026, with the opportunity for permanency subject to review

As the Accounts Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping the success of our Care Services division by providing comprehensive accounts partnering services. This pivotal role sees you ensuring a seamlessly supported accounts team, while also directly contributing to the Accounts/Business Manager's objectives. You will take charge of critical financial operations, including maintaining and updating YTDs, expertly managing e-business events, and meticulously reconciling payment statements. Furthermore, you will have the rewarding opportunity to lead and mentor a dedicated team of three direct reports.

This is a Fixed Term Full Time contract until 1 September 2026 with the opportunity for permanency subject to review. The role will work within a hybrid model which includes 3 days working from home and 2 days from our Bowen Hills office each week to ensure a healthy, work life balance.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Manage end-of-month and end-of-financial-year processes and audits
  • Oversee payment reconciliations, refunds, direct debits, and account adjustments
  • Support system testing, error reporting, and continuous process improvements
  • Contribute to team development through training, recruitment, and policy updates
  • Act as a key contact for escalated internal and external queries
  • Provide backup support for team roles and act in the Business Manager’s capacity when required
  • Assist with projects, transitions, and community-related financial events
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including accountants, analysts, and the Financial Controller
  • Management of key systems such as CRM, Genesys phone system and AR system

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in bookkeeping, administration, accounting or relative field or qualified by experience
