Online Theology Teachers - Part Time

Hudson Global Scholars' Catholic Virtual is now hiring part-time teachers for live online Theology courses. Positions require daytime availability, Monday through Friday.

Role Overview: Part-time teachers are responsible for delivering online course content, providing instruction and support, and managing the learning process to meet students' individual needs. They monitor student progress and provide necessary interventions to help students achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide live and asynchronous instruction.
• Support domestic and international students.
• Prepare for live sessions with appropriate technology and materials.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from a Catholic University, required
• Adhere to communication procedures and grading timelines.
• Provide feedback and maintain student documentation.
• Implement and uphold virtual classroom rules and order.
• Collaborate with Mentor Teachers and Academic Managers.
• Follow Hudson Global Scholars' policies and ethical guidelines.
• Teach in a Catholic faith-based program, respecting religious beliefs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from a Catholic University, required
• Minimum one year of online teaching experience preferred.
• Practicing Catholic in good standing, as evidenced by a letter from your Pastor or other Parish Official, required
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in a Catholic school, preferred
• Catechist Certification, preferred
• Flexibility for early morning or late evening classes.
• Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills.

Compensation:

• Approximately $20 per hour.
