We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who can translate product vision into prioritized deliverables focused on impact & outcomes. In this role, you will be responsible for being the lead storyteller and manager of the end-to-end success of digital products that integrate the needs of the people using government software and our client stakeholders' goals.

This position is fully remote (work from home) and requires a federal background investigation.

Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with the project team, our clients, and everyone within the product management practice area, creating trust and guiding decision-making
  • Be present, collaborative, and caring when interacting with team members and clients
  • Support, coach and mentor other Product Managers on the project in different work streams
  • Collaborate with agency stakeholders to get buy-in for product definition and delivery approach
  • Work with a team of engineers, designers, quality assurance, accessibility, and business stakeholders to capture and translate needs into deliverables
  • Facilitate meetings with clients to understand product users, priorities, product principles, and features
  • Be a champion of the user experience
  • Make decisions about priorities, complexity, user needs, business value, and timeline to define the over product roadmap
  • Own the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with the scope and vision outline in the product roadmap through refinement and beyond
  • Regularly interface with product owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and roadmap health
  • Ensure product design and team processes keep systems secure and compliant
  • Lead the operational process of nurturing a product or service through the entire product life cycle

Requirements:

  • Experience managing communications and expectations between multiple high-performing teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with the end-to-end operational process of guiding a product or service throughout its entire product life cycle 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and operationalize best practices while developing products and services
  • Experience with hands-on program level stakeholder management
  • Experience with Agile
  • U.S. residency 3 of the past 5 years
  • 9+ year experience as a Product Manager or equivalent experience
  • 10 years of digital services
  • Product Certification
  • DKAN, CKAN or relevant Data Management experience
Preferred 
  • Stakeholder management, knows how to consult with clients, guiding in decision-making
  • Manage product items (set priorities, roadmap, etc)
  • Strong communicator, Effective at facilitation of group decision making 
  • Someone who has worked in a different Agile practice area (well-rounded understanding) 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, but isn't starry-eyed about innovation
  • EST Time Zone preferred

Salary Range

$115,000 - $130,000 USD per Year

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience

For this role, you must be a current U.S. resident and have lived here for 3 out of the past 5 years.

We are a completely remote team within the United States. We ask that you have a dedicated workspace and fast internet.
