About the role

Celfocus is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Google Cloud and have some knowledge of AWS.

We are looking for an intermediate level cloud engineer, someone with some experience but still wants to consolidate it before reaching expert levels.

You will be part of a young team with the task of migrating and implementing solutions to google cloud. We encourage an environment of collaboration and continuous growth. In Celfocus we believe in personal growth so opportunities will be given to learn and certificate your knowledge.

You will collaborate with Developers and Architects to deliver a cloud solution that is scalable, reliable, and secure.

This role requires a strong command of the English language and the ability to discuss, design and build solutions with global partners.

As a part of your job, you will:

• Collaborate with other teams and customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored cloud solutions.
• Provide technical insight to maximize value from new and existing IT products and solutions in cloud, multi-cloud, hybrid cloud solutions.
• Help to identify clients’ technological transformation and engineering improvement opportunities and provide relevant and practical solutions to address those needs.
• Implement strategies & transformation plans for clients to migrate to cloud solutions using Google Cloud / AWS.
• Always be mindful of security by default and follow security best practices.

What are we looking for?

• 3–4 years of hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience with strong autonomy.
• Some Experience with AWS Cloud.
• Competence in IaC technologies like Terraform and Ansible.
• Experienced with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Git, Github, bash scripting, Linux, etc).
• Understanding of private, public and hybrid cloud architecture, networking, cloud operations and cost models.
  

Nice to have:

• Some knowledge of FinOps
• Certifications in Google Cloud or AWS
• Experience with designing cloud migration projects.

• Self-motivated and ability to adapt in a demanding multicultural environment.
• Fluent in English both verbal and written.
• Ability to easily acquire new technology knowledge, particular in other cloud providers.
• Problem solver, think out of the box.
• Ease of interpersonal relations and a taste for teamwork.
