We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Assistant Dean to support the Dean in managing academic programs, student services, faculty coordination, and operational planning. The ideal candidate will help ensure the academic quality, integrity, and smooth functioning of the department, while also fostering a supportive learning environment for students and staff.
Support the Dean in developing and implementing academic policies, strategic plans, and institutional goals.
Oversee administrative functions including scheduling, accreditation documentation, and budget coordination.
Assist with faculty recruitment, orientation, evaluations, and professional development programs.
Collaborate with departments to ensure high academic standards, curriculum alignment, and program delivery.
Address student concerns, manage academic advising processes, and support student success initiatives.
Coordinate events, workshops, and outreach programs that promote engagement and academic excellence.
Contribute to policy review and improvement of academic procedures and student support services.
Serve on academic and administrative committees as assigned.
Foster a culture of inclusivity, integrity, and continuous improvement within the academic community.
Masters degree in Education, Administration, or a relevant academic discipline (Doctorate preferred).
35 years of experience in higher education administration, academic leadership, or student services.
Strong understanding of academic policies, institutional governance, and student development.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in educational technologies and administrative systems.
Doctoral degree (Ed.D., Ph.D., or equivalent) in a relevant field.
Experience with accreditation processes and academic quality assurance.
Familiarity with student information systems (e.g., Banner, PeopleSoft).
