Job Summary

In this key Field Service Technician position, you will travel within a 100-mile radius territory Monday through Friday each week installing, performing routine maintenance, and/or making repairs on a wide range of cash automation equipment including counters, recyclers, and ATMS.  You will build lasting relationships while providing excellent customer service.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Past successful candidates have had experience or backgrounds in installation or repair of office equipment, POS systems, video surveillance, and/or security alarms. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Install and repair machines
  • Upgrade software and hardware
  • Diagnose system complications and perform repairs
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Effectively communicate with QDS team members
  • Effectively communicate through Microsoft Outlook
Qualifications

 Qualification/Competencies/Work Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • 1+ years of experience as a field service technician.
  • NCR Certification preferred, but not required.
  • OEM ATM certification is desirable.
  • People person! Friendly and sociable with great relationship building skills – ability to create an instant rapport with customers.
  • Self-starter with good work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Clean and neat in appearance.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize travel schedule.
  • Basic math skills and computer skills
  • Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds.
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow diagrams and manuals.
  • Ability to drive up to 6-8 hours per day.
  • Clean driving record with valid driver’s license.
  • Must pass a background check and drug test.

Preferred Education and Experience:

•   Highschool Diploma Required

•   Associates degree preferred

•   NCR Certification preferred, but not required

•   OEM ATM certification desirable

Work Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent driving
  • Working with hands
  • Standing, sitting, bending, twisting, for extended periods of time
  • Subject to working outside in varying weather conditions
  • Lifting objects weighing up to 50-75 pounds
  • Stretching and reaching above your head
