Job summary: 

The mission of the (Consultant) Intern is to support the delivery of high-quality advisory services by assisting in research, analysis, and project coordination. You will play a key role in helping South Pole achieve its vision of driving impactful climate solutions, while gaining valuable experience in climate advisory work.

Main tasks & responsibilities: 

  • Project Support: Timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks.
  • Data Quality: Ensure no issues in project-related data, including timesheets and milestones.
  • Collaboration: Actively engage in team initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities.

Main Responsibilities:

Project Support

  • Assist in implementing climate advisory projects, ensuring research and analytical tasks are thorough and high-quality.
  • Support preparation of client deliverables, including reports and presentations.

Data Quality and Reporting

  • Ensure data accuracy in internal systems, including timesheets and project documentation.
  • Update project records and support budget reconciliation tasks.

Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing

  • Participate in internal team meetings and initiatives.
  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing platforms to enhance team expertise.

Essential Profile Requirements

Experience:

  • Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in environmental sciences, sustainability, economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in research or data analysis is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and/or Google Suite, and/or familiarity with data tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Team-oriented, proactive, and adaptable.
