The City of Atlanta is seeking professional services for the Office of the Chief Information Officer division of the Department of Atlanta Information Management (AIM). This engagement will provide executive support directly for the Chief Information Officer (CIO). Scope of work · Proactive portfolio oversight of CIO priority administrative initiatives. This includes project work and strategic execution. · Work with senior teams to ensure CIO deadlines are met and quality work products are produced. · Support strategic and operational CIO objectives, such as portfolio oversight of departmental strategy and AIM deliverables to Administration and City Council. · Assist with risk and issue management, including the creation of internal audit risk control self-assessments (RCSA). · Serve as a reliable resource for ad hoc work delegated by the CIO as unplanned priority initiatives arise. Deliverables · Deliverables will be dependent on priorities established by the CIO and are subject to change. · At the start of the engagement, the following deliverables are priorities of the CIO (in priority order): 1. In coordination with the CIO, oversee the FY26 strategic objectives via logic model framework for the department’s four focus areas. 2. Assisting with establishing revised frameworks for change advisory board and architecture review board. 3. Providing oversight for identified (non-project) risks and issues, leveraging Trello. 4. Conduct bimonthly incident response scenarios with the team, including updating the Incident Response Plan. Note: InfoTech Research Group, LLC is supporting this effort. 5. Creation of framework for RCSA. Responsibilities · The City of Atlanta will provide necessary access to all equipment, resources, and information needed to complete this effort. · Both the City of Atlanta and the selected vendor will assign resource managers to oversee the initiative and management of resources. · The City of Atlanta will work with the selected vendor to ensure all City personnel are engaged and responsive.
