Job description

United AC Scrap is seeking highly motivated and results-oriented individuals to join the team as Commission-ONLY Scrap Buyers. In this role, the buyers (YOU) will be responsible for proactively sourcing and purchasing electric HVAC motors from various sources, including dealers, demolition contractors, scrap yards, and other potential sources. You will need to have exceptional negotiation skills and will need them to secure competitive pricing and drive profitable transactions.

This is a COMMISSION-only position. Earning potential is directly tied to performance and the volume of motors purchased. Responsibilities include:

Completing the training provided by home office
Adhere to company policies
Provide documentation for all deals closed and sourced
Identify and develop new sources for motors (building your own book of business)
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
Negotiate pricing and terms for motor purchases
Meet any and all safety standards
Assist in determining the weight and pricing of motors brought in by sources
Travel from location to location
Communicate with the home office on a regular basis keeping them in the loop of activities and potential shipments that will need to be arranged
